Searching for a global number becomes easy with Truecaller. Simply access the Truecaller app “Search” option and type in or copy the number you are searching for. Looking up numbers is a free service.
spam Call filter
The Call Filter option shows your blocked list and top spam. By adding unwanted numbers to the blocked list, you will be notified when the number tries to get in touch. Unwanted numbers can also be marked as spam and added to the spam list. Truecaller also features a collaborative spam list, which is built by our users to help identify the top spammers in your area. You are automatically warned and protected from these spam numbers and the top spam list.
Name lookup
Truecaller provides results that are relevant for each query, and puts users in control of who can see their contact details at all times. Using Truecaller Credits, a person can look for anyone in the world by name. The intuitive service works through a user’s social circle to contact the person whose number has been requested. The person being contacted must approve the request in order to unlock their contact details for the requester. This ensures that no contact details can be shared without prior approval of the person being contacted
Connect People

Many of your contacts might already be on Truecaller, so you can get in touch and find the right person by searching through degrees of separation from your current contacts. Only Drawback so far...
There is no drawbacks per se as the service is always up and running and the only issue you might encounter is when you do not have full network reception that enables fast data exchange between your phone and the Truecaller servers... its so efficient and fast that before your phone rings for more than necessary a name appears immediately and you can tell who is calling, and decide if you want to take the call or not but if you do not have full data coverage this might not work as it should.
